Mas tenho plena consciência da sua importância para o futebol, o esporte, o Brasil e o mundo. E isso, Amada Majestade, não é pouco. Não é qualquer um que carrega consigo um título de Rei. Ainda mais nascido preto, pobre, num país de preto e pobre. Conseguir um título de nobreza reconhecido internacionalmente, Caro Pelé, é um feito e tanto. Penso ser merecido.

E os títulos com a corte santista? Foram tantos que nem dá para listar nessa cartinha. Não conseguiria acabar, como ainda não acabou para os alvinegros praianos e seus rivais. Está na memória de todos eles, Rei. Seus súditos, até aqueles que lhe recusavam e renegavam, ainda não esqueceram de Vossa Majestade.
E como o Senhor conseguiu ser tão ligado a um número? Impossível não pensar no Rei quando se fala em 10. Ou dez. Qualquer menção ao numeral redondo mais famoso, me vem à cabeça o Senhor.

PS: Tente dar uma distanciada do Edson. Andou fazendo muita bobagem, pelo que li por aí. E, nossa!, só fala besteira! Vive num mundo que não existe, um mundo só dele, onde há apenas o Rei e ele. O único plebeu, súdito, clérigo, e pior, bobo de corte. Não sei até quando o alvará dele terá validade. As pessoas começam a achar que é sinal de loucura ou velhice. Ele já é um senhor né? Mais idoso que Vossa Majestade, sem a cultura, a vivência, a rodagem que o Senhor tem. Tente afastá-lo dos holofotes. Aquele tanto de microfone, quando ele se depara, acaba falando do que não sabe e do que acha que sabe. É triste, Rei. Porque a gente sabe que o Senhor se importa com ele. Mas nós não. Para nós, ele é só mais um. A nossa tolerância com ele é pelo Senhor, mas isso um dia acaba né, Majestade…
