Ahh, o futebol…
Incentivados pelos pais, tios ou amigos mais próximos da família, somos influenciados de todas as maneiras a criar uma paixão por um determinado time.
Existem os mais comedidos, que ainda respeitam a vontade de um pai ou avô apaixonado e evitam qualquer tipo de brincadeira que possa gerar eventuais transtornos, mas, também, existem aqueles “tios” mais inconvenientes que ainda tentam roubar a cena com um presentinho desagradável, normalmente a camisa do time rival, quase uma afronta ao genitor.
Uma coisa é certa, quando ainda mal nos conhecemos por gente, já sabemos que existe algo muito importante por trás daquela “bola de futebol”. É algo quase intuitivo, que parece estar no sangue, impregnado em nossas almas.
O esporte mais popular de todo o planeta, o mais praticado em todo o mundo, é, aqui no Brasil, uma genuína paixão. Um esporte coletivo que proporciona grande sociabilidade, que consegue misturar em um mesmo grupo e mesmo espaço, pessoas de diferentes classes políticas, religiosas e sociais. Possui, portanto, uma formidável capacidade de unir as pessoas! Quantas horas gastas em frente à televisão e idas aos estádios pais e filhos não têm em comum em suas lembranças? Trata-se de um forte elo entre diferentes gerações de uma família que certamente muitos dos leitores se identificarão.
Como explicar a sensação de um estádio lotado, cantando, gritando, pulando? Ou a sensação de um gol comemorado com um abraço em um desconhecido? E aquela vitória contundente, aquela goleada em um clássico? Ou, ainda, saborear a derrota inesperada que o time arquirrival acaba de sofrer? É, parece que o fanatismo saudável é sim muito gostoso. Nas ruas, grupos de amigos, redes sociais, discussões familiares, todos entendem tudo de futebol: técnica, tática, esquemas, todos sabemos demais e temos as argumentações mais convincentes e que defendemos com unhas e dentes. Se for preciso, esgotaremos nossa paciência, iremos até o limite nas discussões. Na derrota, a culpa é sempre do juiz, ou o jogo não valia nada, ou determinado campeonato não tinha importância etc; já na vitória, somos os tais, e que “corram todos atrás”.
Como disse certa vez o técnico vice-campeão mundial pela seleção italiana na Copa de 94, Arrigo Sacchi, “il calcio è la cosa più importante delle cose non importanti“.
Traduzindo, o futebol é a coisa mais importante dentre as coisas menos importantes.
